What clothes should I bring to my first visit?

Wear loose-fitting clothes that do not restrict normal body movements. Also, please have proper footwear that will not fall off your feet when you lay down on the table (no flip flops, no high heels, no crocs).

Will my adjustment hurt?

In the majority of cases, there will be no pain with the adjustment. Dr. Dan uses low force to deliver adjustments. There are instances where a patient’s condition is severe or highly inflamed and the chiropractic adjustment can elicit some discomfort.

Once I start going to the Chiropractor, do I have to keep going forever?

This is where Dr. Dan is different from many in the chiropractic profession. After a patient’s initial two visits, the patient is responsible for further care. There is no treatment schedule initiated by Dr. Dan unless requested by the patient.

Do you take insurance?

Our office does NOT accept insurance. We provide a superbill that can be submitted by the patient to their own insurance company for reimbursement.

Will I feel cracking or popping during my adjustment?

No. Adjustments are administered with a Low Force instrument that does not “Snap, crackle and pop” the bones.

Will you suggest exercises or other things I can do?

Yes. Dr. Dan gives suggestions on Diet, Hydration AND Exercise. Each of these represents the “3-legged stool” to Optimal Wellness.

Are you one of those chiropractors who think they can cure everything?

No. Dr. Dan does not pretend to be God. The only thing he tries to cure is…Ham.

Do you have a family plan?

No. There are no special plans that involve large, up front expenditures by the patient.

Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?

Absolutely. Dr. Dan carefully evaluates each patient and determines the cause of their particular condition. It is rare that Dr. Dan dismisses a patient due to extenuating circumstances related to a prior surgical procedure.
